The Golden Spike Route Today covers the Union Pacific main line from Omaha, Nebraska, 1,776-miles west to Sacramento, California.  Join us as we see what the original transcontinental railroad looks like today.

We’ll visit all of the important locations:

  • Wyoming’s Sherman Hill
  • Utah’s Echo and Weber Canyons
  • The Lucin Cutoff
  • The crossing of the Sierra on Donner Pass
