Description
Built as an interurban but never electrified, the Minneapolis Northfield & Southern became a prosperous bridge line for 50 years before it was absorbed by the Soo Line during the merger era. It had an eclectic diesel roster and served dozens of on-line industries. Photographed by local railfans, this is an end-to-end tour of this classy little railroad from 1962 to 1985!
