Description
Erstmals erscheint ein Modell der US-Billig-Airline Spirit im Herpa-Programm. Inoffiziell wird die Airline auch als „Ultra-Low-Cost-Carrier“ geführt, bei der neben dem Sitzplatz nahezu alles andere, wie zum Beispiel auch das Handgepäck, gegen einen Aufpreis dazu gebucht werden muss. Das simple Konzept erwies sich als sehr erfolgreich und die Airline wuchs zur achtgrößten Gesellschaft der USA. Sie betreibt derzeit eine Flotte von fast 170 A319, A320 und A321 Flugzeugen im markant-simplen gelb-schwarzen Look.
